JOIN for Teens serves Baltimore area Jewish teens in all segments of the community by providing:

• Recreational, vocational, social, educational and preventive programs
• Mentoring programs
• Connections to resources
• Staff of Teen Outreach workers
• Special teen events
• 24-hour TEEN HOTLINE 410-988-8001
• Consultations with schools
• Services for Russian speaking community
• Parenting programs

JOIN for Teens is a collaborative project of Jewish Community Services and the Jewish Community Center, agencies of THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore.

JOIN for Teens staff work with teens ages 11-18 who:

• Attend public, private, alternative, trade schools and community colleges as well as those who are presently not in school
• Are engaging in high risk behaviors such as drug and alcohol use, truancy, sexual promiscuity and behaviors associated with eating disorders.

JOIN for Teens staff:

• Can be found where teens are; out in the community, connecting with teens on the streets, at the Mitchell David Teen Center, at the JCC, local hangouts, and synagogues
• Develop, supervise and facilitate recreational opportunities and small group discussions at the Teen Center, JCC, and other community sites
• Connect teens and their families with resources, programs, and professionals (such as social workers, rabbis and teachers)
